"May God bless you and keep you always, may your wishes all come true, may you always do for others, and let others do for you. May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung. May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous, may you grow up to be true, may you always know the truth, and see the lights surrounding you. May you always be courageous, stand upright and be strong, may you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy, may your feet always be swift, may you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift. May your heart always be joyful and may your song always be sung. May you stay forever young." -Bob Dylan

"Not talking about a year, no not three or four. I don't want that kind of forever in my life anymore. Forever always seems to be around when it begins, but forever never seems to be around when it end. So give me your forever, please your forever. Not a day less will do from you.
People spend so much time every single day runnin' 'round all over town givin' their forever away. But no not me, I won't let my forever roam and now I hope I can find my forever a home. So give me your forever, please your forever. Not a day less will do from you.
Like a handless clock with numbers, an infinite of time. No not the forever found only in the mind. Forever always seems to be around when things begin, but forever never seems to be around when things end. So give me your forever, please your forever. Not a day less will do from you." - Ben Harper

Home Sweet Home

We closed on a house on Thursday, which was very exciting! We could not have asked for a smoother process. Our lender was on top of things since the day we started working with her, our realtor kept us informed (and laughing with her great sense of humor), and the attorney was very friendly and educated us on whatever we had questions on. The only person not on top of things was...ME! We moved all of our stuff in on Friday with the help of 2 friends, and at 5pm I realized that I had not turned in our application for water/sewer/garbage to get started/turned on. So, it is now Monday afternoon and we are still without water. We have made many trips to the local grocery stores to use the bathrooms, we have slept at our friend's house, and my parent's, and we have dirty dishes with food dried up on them in our sink. The good news, this is the only thing that went wrong. :) Trying to look at the bright side...

Elsa has been a super star, sleeping wherever and whenever we set up her pack 'n play, eating whatever we can get our hands on, and staying her happy, sweet self through it all. We have a flexible baby despite my strict schedule I follow for her. I am so thankful.

Here is the house! The day after we moved in, it snowed for 8 or 9 hours straight. We were thankful Shane had planned on taking Friday off, so that we didn't have to move in this beautiful yet yucky weather.

The amount of sleep Elsa has had would make all of us think that she was part of the moving crew. She has asked me to go take a nap every afternoon and to go night night every evening since Friday. Sleeping in 3 housing in 3 consecutive nights must be exhausting.

My friend, Brittany, watched Elsa for us on Friday while we moved. She also made us dinner. Ever since Shane's mom figured out Carrabba's seasoning mix that they put in their oil, we eat our bread at home with oil and seasonings. Elsa likes it to. Thank you, Britt, for dinner. It was a huge blessing and was delicious!

I hope everyone has a great week. Be sure to not take advantage of your water. Considering most of the world doesn't have their own personal water supply, I need to stop myself from complaining about this minor issue. We are so blessed.
